Alan Griffiths is producing his second album from Sunday 4th February – 10 February at Underwood Studios in The Blue Mountains NSW. Sound engineer is Craig Field, in his brand new refitted studio.
Featuring in this album will be more piano music and some chamber music composed by Griffiths in Melbourne, to be performed by the internationally acclaimed pianist Nicholas Young. This album includes duets for piano, violin and piano and cello, and some of which recieved a glowing review when premiered at his 50th Birthday Concert last year.
The cellist is George Yang who got his Masters on Cello from the Sydney Conservatorium and Polish trained Dominik Przywara on violin.
Griffiths aims to hold the World Premiere of his second album at Beleura House and in Sydney later this year.
